Assalamu Alaykom dear parents,
My name is Mrs. Hajer Ben Abid and I am your kid's homeroom teacher. I have a bachelor degree in Education and an M.A in Linguistics. I have a ten-year teaching experience both in high and elementary schools. I look forward to our year together and all the things I have planned for my third graders.
We’ll stay together for math and science, but will switch to Mrs. Fatima’s class for Language arts and social studies. In science, we will learn about growth and changes in plants, soils in the environment, forces causing movement, and strong and stable structures. We will complete many fun and interesting experiments in sha'Allah.
In math we'll see patterns, numeration, data management, addition and subtraction, measuring length, time, and temperature, 2-D and 3-D geometry, and Multiplication, division and fractions.
I will be sending the agendas today in sha'Allah as well as the class timetable and Class DoJo account codes. I will be using class Do Jo to update you on your kids' progress in sha'Allah. Please sign and return the bottom half of the sheet attached in your kid's agenda.
